Thai Supplies!

This is one of the top 10 dishes I've ever made in my life. We can sum it up like this:
Jessy-"This. Is. F'n. Amazing. One of my favorites of favorites right now. Oh My god."
Gunner- "Yeah, but it could just be the coconut milk."
Jessy- "No. It's the way everything is SO complimentary. Oh, write that on your blog!"

Pork Loin Magic!

Pig Pig Pig Pig yum yum yummy yum yum. Seriously, the right cut of pork, cooked right.... there's nothing like it. Here's the BEST part of the piggy (assuming you're not BBQing), cooked just right. There's piggy bits under there, a mushroom topping, and some roasted eggplant. It made me so happy I did a little dance. Jessy said it was delicious as well. Why wait? Make it now. NOW

La Bandera Mexicana

I know, I've been away for a while. Not that I haven't been cooking, it's just that I've been to busy to take some pictures and write some stuff. Well, now here you go, La Bandera Mexicana- The Mexican Flag.

It's just a fancy little thing that makes a good party dip or even a little snack. Yum. Or as they say in Mexico, "yumo."

Beef and you: Partners in Freedom

Here in America, we are blessed with a friend that shows up at our tables from time to time- the cow. Oh, Mr. Cow, you are some tasty eating, but you gotta know what you're doing with what you've got. And what parts are there to choose from?

Pesto Snapper Bonanza!

This dish is incredibly easy, especially if you have a food processor. However, it'll make you feel like a super-awesome gourmet. And it'll impress the ladies... (small secret, not ACTUALLY pesto in this dish)

Hot and Sour Chicken! (or tofu)

Sorry no pic of this one, but I ate it before thinking to take one. Oops. Anyways, so I made this last night and it's pretty good. I was worried it would be a little too hot for Jessy, but she kept saying it was "delicious." She really liked it, and I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

You can easily alter the amount of hot you have in here to suit your tastes, from just a touch to nuclear death rays coming from your tongue.

Harira- soup of ultimate happiness

Harira is an awesome Moroccan soup that is everywhere there. It can range from 30cents to $4 a bowl, depending on if you're in a small market or fancy hotel- and yet its pretty similar everywhere.

There's a few different ways of making it, and this is a slightly americanlized version. Let's face it, you don't want egg white bits floating around, or chunks of lamb in your soup.

Shrimp on linguine with white wine sauce

Jessy said this one was "AMAZINGicon_wink ." She's still talking about it, too, and said the little face should be in there too. It's a white wine reduction, so try and get a bottle of fruity dry wine to use with this.

Simple Shrimp Salad

This salad is quick, is easy, is "scrumptious" says Jessy. She made the dressing and added the best part, some strawberries. They really brighten up an already good dish.

El Pollo Cubano con riz y frijoles

This little number is a bit harder than the usual thinger you find on here. But it's totally worth it. You'll certainly need a drink to get you through this one, so step #1 is pour yourself a glass of something. Dry beer, white wine, a mojito, something. Jessy "LOVED" it, as did I. You will too. (I would have had a picture, but we ate it too quickly)

Alfredo Shrimp with spinach

Jessy said of this dish, "scrum-diddly-umptions and scrimp-a-licious."

ok, so this is easy and quick. I'm tired as hell, I had a drink at a bar and then walked half a mile home, which is certainly going to make you doze a little bit. But still, at 9pm I managed to throw this together and get a friggin' awesome meal. You can too, so go for it.

Summer Sea Scallops

Jessy described this as "delicious and fresh, but warm." It tastes like summer time, minus the sunscreen taste. Make sure not to overcook your scallops or you'll sink into a deep dark depression and every molecule in your body will explode at the speed of light (total protonic reversal).

Cilantro Lime Marinade

Jessy really liked this chicken, as did AC, at the beach house in NC. It's a simple marinade that will make your BBQs better than you knew it could be. Much like driving off a cliff, this can change your life.

Happy Lemon Shrimps!

Rated "zippy and friggin' awesome" by Jessy. Tangy lemon rosemary Shrimp with a tart smack of wine over pasta. Why spend $38 (don't forget tip) at a place where people do lines in the kitchen so they can smile at you just to get at some good food?

This is food that's so simple and quick I shame you for not having it right now. You can redeem yourself tonight and have it for dinner.
